Introduction
By registering and using the Boat Fix™ service, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These Terms form an agreement between you and Boat Fix LLC, governing your use of the service.
1. Definitions
- Action Plan: A pre-determined response plan for major events occurring on a vessel with a Boat Fix Device installed.
- Boat Fix Device: Any hardware sold or distributed by Boat Fix for service use.
- Contract Period: The subscription period during which the user pays for and uses the service.
- Early Termination Fee: A $100 fee for terminating the service before the contract expires.
2. Scope of Service
The service includes GSM communication, SMS and email alerts, web portal access, customer support, and software upgrades.
3. Service Availability
Service availability depends on external factors such as obstructions, internet availability, and network conditions. Boat Fix is not liable for disruptions beyond its control.
4. Contract Period
The minimum contract period is 12 months. The service cannot be canceled or suspended within this timeframe.
5. Use of the Built-in SIM Card
The SIM card remains the property of Boat Fix. The service may be canceled if payments are missed, the service remains inactive for three months post-contract, or if the SIM is misused.
6. Service Charges
Service charges are billed automatically on a monthly or annual basis. Failure to maintain valid payment details may result in service termination and applicable fees.
Privacy Policy
Boat Fix respects user privacy and only collects necessary data for service provision.
Data Collection
- Personal details (name, email, phone, payment details) are collected.
- Automatic data, including IP address and browsing activity, is logged.
Data Security
Industry-standard security measures protect user data. Users are responsible for securing their accounts.
